Hello! Welcome to the eBuddy blog. Here we talk about our passion, the team and our products.

eBuddy Multi Network Beta Release

Today we released a new version of our Multi Network Beta. By popular demand, and to follow up on our quest to make the Beta into a non-Beta, this iteration we emptied our guns on Conferencing (a.k.a Groupchat).

The actual feature is pretty straightforward, you can now start group chats with all your buddies that are on the MSN, Yahoo or AIM networks. This means you can start a MSN groupchat, a Yahoo groupchat or an AIM groupchat, not one with mixed contacts.

We have added some other nifty features like being able to give a group chat a name, so that you can find it easily, and being able to filter contacts when you invite them.

Credit where credit is due, bigup to our UE Expert the G-Man, conferencing looks awesome! ;)

As I like to keep it short and snappy, go ahead and try it for yourself.

I tried servial times today to use this beta log in my MSN account, but failed… The notice says, I have used wrong username or bad code, but thats not possible. Would anybody like to tell me why? Thanks!

    Hi Thunfish,

MSN recently required users to validate their password! You need to go the the MSN website and type in your password again. It’s a Microsoft thing, nothing we can do about it… Sorry!

    What about FaceBook?

Would be nice if eBuddy could provide FaceBook messenger, with notification, etc… somethig you can find in FriendVox or other messenger for FaceBook.

What about Google Talk group chat ? Google Talk has a neat feature which I use, it can translate to different languages on fly. But it works only in group chat format.
