Early this morning we noticed some problems with our Yahoo connection which caused erroneous “Wrong username/password” messages.
After a couple of minutes of studying the logs and stepping through the sourcecode we found the issue and it was quickly resolved.
Servers are being upgraded as we speak, so Yahoo service should be restored fully in a short while.

Hey i use ebuddy for my mobile phone, psp and my computer i have found one problem with the mobile phone version when you type in your password it always makes the first letter caps witch would give alot of people not noticing it the wrong password/username error i noticed it after about 7 try’s with my yahoo login just figgerd id let you know thank you for a GREAT website / Program

MSN Messenger works for me, however Yahoo IM tries to long on indefinitely until I cancel the attempt. I’ve verified the UN/PW are correct. Looks like an issue with the eBuddy backend server.
I neglected to mention that I’m running eBuddy on my Nokia 6300 with the T-mobile unlimited packet data plan.

Every time I try to sign in on ebbudy using my phone or PC… a SERVER is BUSY message appears… this only happens using my MSN account.. I tried with another email from the same PC and mobile phone and it worked perfectly… whats wrong with mine?

Hey Cutler, same problem here. With different accounts i sign in properly, free error, but every time i try mine, the error ’server is busy’ appears and connection fails and if you try for a couple of times it just stays struck in connecting mode and no conclusion then you throw your phone etc. Ive been going freaking bananas last hours, hope it gets worked out soon. Guys i figured that out. I use ebuddy on my mobile but also i’ve some other messenger programs on mobile and if you’re registered on this messenger programs with the same nickname i guess server stucks and doesnt let you sign in. Try another username then try to connect. I did and my ebuddy works fine now after an ‘errored’ week.

I have been having problems with yahoo messenger lately. It keeps logging me out saying I have signed in from another location. The problem is the server. On pidgin messenger for my linux desktop, I changed the server to the canadian and everything works fine now. I cannot find out how to do that on ebuddy. I’m using ebuddy on a 2nd Gen iPod, and me and a couple of my friends with the same device all encountered a problem on the same day. We were using our gmail accounts, and now, even when we logged out, we were still shown as online, using ebuddy. We’ve tried removing our accounts from ebuddy, deleting the app, rebooting our devices, and even removing the app from the computer our iPod syncs with, and still we get people talking to us when we aren’t there. It’s a huge problem. Any fixes?

Ebuddy really started failing my expectations again. When I try to log in it takes me to the feedback page and it does it over and over again. When i try to do it for the 5th time it just does the same thing and says my IM wasnt found…

Hi, I use ebuddy on my PSP a lot. It used to work just fine before. But I’ve been having issues with YIM on ebuddy all day. It keeps saying “(YAHOO) : Login locked” highlighted in red. I have already deleted all the cookies and caches as well as the browser history and even restarted my PSP, but it still won’t log me in. Is there anything done to fix this bug? The problem with the “Login Locked” response is an issue caused by Yahoo!, not eBuddy, since Meebo is also being afflicted with similar issues Re: Yahoo! Messenger accounts.
The other IM services that I use: GTalk and Facebook are entirely functional on both Meebo and EBuddy. The only common factor lies within the Yahoo! Messenger infrastructure.

It’s working fine but psp messanger download users be careful i ran into a msn and face book non-suppoort error yesterday. The accounts listed on the account setting page were black text for msn and facebook. As for YIM it still remains black text but you can only still sign in and out. Nor can you add A new YIM or change the sign on at start up setting I don’t mind as long is it still works. Also Has anyone had any trouble with status messages saving?

“Invalid Username or Password”
for the solution you go to facebook.com and when you log in into your acct. you’ll see “Please confirm identity. then you’ll have security questions and after that you’ll see a notification like this
“you account has been open in a computer from United States”
“you recognized” or “it’s unfamiliar”
you must click “you recognized” coz ebuddy’s from United states I’m from Philippines. I only clicked “I/you recognized” then when I tried Ebuddy on my phone again

hey i use nokia 5800 it worked absolutly fine but recently everytime i get a message it wont ring. I checked volume settings and its the highest yet it wont ring. I also re installed it but no luck. Please help!!!
Hey, I have an iPod touch & I have downloaded the iPhone/iPod touch free from the app store.. Earlier on today it was working fine but I just tried to log in and it says error: server Is busy, but my Internet is working fine I just don’t know whats wrong with it :S please help!
