Hello! Welcome to the eBuddy blog. Here we talk about our passion, the team and our products.

eBuddy Mobile Messenger 1.4.1

Posted by Vincent G. on August 24th, 2009

Hi all,

Nokia E71We have just released a minor update of eBuddy Mobile Messenger: version 1.4.1. This version contains no major changes or sparkling new features, but it is definitely an improvement of the previous version. It will make chatting on eBuddy just that little bit smoother :)

First, we have been working on reducing memory usage. On some phones people would get ‘out of memory’ errors after some time, while using eBuddy. Or on SonyEricsson phones eBuddy would become unresponsive after a while. This should not happen anymore.

Second, we have been improving the support for all phones with a full keyboard, like the Nokia E71. Particularly the problems with the backspace key have been solved.

Finally, tons of small things have been improved that make chatting on eBuddy more reliable and easier.

To get this new version, go to http://get.ebuddy.com with your mobile phone. If you encounter any problems or want to suggest a new feature, place a comment or send an e-mail to feedback_j2me@ebuddy.com.

my hope is just that i always connect to the internet

  10. Kiah Says: August 25th, 2009 at 6:16 pm

It would be great if there was a signed version of ebuddy. I have an at&t quickfire and since it is not a signed version I can’t change the java permissions to ALWAYS allow ebuddy access to the internet..so it is very annoying to have to keep hitting allow ONCE instead of being able to change it. Also there is not a specific version for my at&t quickfire (utstarcom quickfire gtx75), but it works just fine..I got it from getjar.com tho so I didn’t have to put what kind of phone I had..just that I could used a java application.

Both N95 and 6220 classic has the 5 Megapixel camera, I think that has some trouble with ebuddy, Can you solve this isssue?
