Yes, we are still here! It has been a long time since you heard something from us on this blog. We have been working really hard to fix some annoying issues that had been laying around for too long. As from today we serve a new version of eBuddy Web Messenger to all of you. Simply login via ebuddy.com and you get all the latest improvements, which include:
- Loading of your contact list is now twice as fast as before! This means no more waiting, especially when you have a lot of friends in your contact list.
- Many stability fixes, no longer your eBuddy gets disconnected for no reason or you can see users online who left the computer hours ago!
- Adding a network to your account has never been easier! We completely redesigned the way you add another account to your eBuddy, so it is less likely you make a mistake.
- Redesign of all popup windows! They were soooo 2007.
- New way of changing your name and custom status. Our user research showed that this actually annoyed you the most, so we changed it! Your name is most important, so it is displayed above your personal shout.
- New Help pages. We are not there yet, but we completely redid the Frequently Asked Questions page. It should now answer your most urgent and common questions (surprisingly).

Great job for the improvements of ebuddy.. i’m using it everyday at the office, since the YM can’t be accessed. But, i found one problem now.. i can’t change my avatar. When i did that, the processing image will always appear at the avatar box. to stop it, i have to logout first, and then login again.. i hope it can be fixed soon.. thank you..

Good job for improving ebuddy, if i don’t have msn, can you help us to login in yahoo through this website? but i am glad that ebuddy has improve… i am using it almost everyday in my computer at my house…it is very sucessful for us, using ebuddy,since i sign in most of the time… Hope you work harder next time..(i did not say that this is not good) for the previous comment, saying there is a problem, i hope you can fixed it soon.. i can say thank you for helping us to fixed it, once again THANKS YOU

uh, the only thing i noticed, is that when im talking to someone.. the convo box goes up and up to cover my IM name, display pic, etc etc.. then it freezes.. it really sucks
Awesome improvements, but using my eBuddy sign-on, I no longer automatically sign into AIM. Even though its checked off to automatically sign in, I have to go to accounts and sign into AIM manually. I use a Blackberry.
Great job, everything is awesome. I do have one issue. Using the Ebuddy ID, I can no longer automatically connect to AIM. I have to go into accounts and sign on manually.
I want support for the Facebook-protocol in the Webmessenger client.

This update actually did more harm then good. Like a few posts above my aim doesn’t automatically sign in anymore. Also have alot of contact appearing offline when they are actually online. Please look into this.

I was using ebuddy on my blackberry bold and had no problems but lately I’ve noticed that even though i sign out of ebuddy and am not connected to a wi-fi it still shows me as online to my contacts and my status shows as connected to m.ebuddy. How do i make this stop? It is becoming quite a pain since I can’t get any offline messages anymore and the constant hassle of trying to explain that im really not online even though ebuddy is showing me as online.

Could you add a feature where it tells you when new friends in one of those pop messaged
I meant to say can you add a feature for the iphone version where it tells you when new friends come online in one of those pop up messages so you can be doing something else at the same time instead of having to flick back and forth to check if any new people are on yet.
