Webcam Chat has finally arrived! Your requests during the past months haven’t gone unnoticed: we’ve now built webcam into eBuddy Web Messenger!
We are thrilled to announce that we now support webcam chat conversations. eBuddy has partnered with TokBox, the super simple Web service for video chat and video email. Now you can have a webcam chat with all your friends to see what they are up to or what that new haircut really looks like. 
How to start a webcam chat
It’s extremely easy to get started:
Simply open a chat, click the webcam button and you are ready to go! It doesn’t matter if your friends are on eBuddy, MSN, Yahoo! or Facebook; you will always be able to start a webcam session with them. All you need is a webcam!
We have just enabled webcam on all our servers, so you should see the webcam button every time you log in! Do let us know what you think after using it, that helps us making it even better in the future. When you need help setting up or using webcam chat, take a look at this page.

I guess it is neccessary to log in with my ebuddy account? Because from yahoo or msn hotmail i could not. Any way if the option is available to access to a web chat…congratulations to the ppl - Ebuddy…

This would be super cool if it could also integrate with Y! messenger or Google Talk IM services. Any plans for that?

its like comes up with the cam on and i can see myself but noone else can ? and when i have to ask them to accept it dosent let them ?
Sounds so cool! This feature must really be convenient at all. The good thing is, you can capture all your friends’ webcam even if they’re on the other site. Well, it’s pretty fun though. I’ll gotta check this out. Thanks to ebuddy’s team!
how do l accept fotos onthe web even when l have’nt got a web cam yet cause my son tells me to accept and clic on the blue cam?

It is not so great when after creating an account I have no idea how to sign into that account, making webcam unavailble. Where do users sign in???(with the user name created???)

does it work with logitech quickcam pro 9000 in hd?? I can onlt get it to run at 1.3mp setting..

For people who cannot get it to work: Make sure to check our help page at http://ebuddy.com/ebuddy_webcam.php
Also make sure you have a webcam connected to your PC, allow us access to the webcam and it should all work. Note than you can only send webcam invitations. You can not yet accept invitations from your friends, but we are working on that.

hi e buddy team , every time i click on the webcam icon a window comes up to create a buddy id , lets say i stop viewing one friend and strart with another i asks me the same .Can you please email me why is this happening ? thanks

and wenever i do this my internet closes and crashes

Are you guys planing on releasing webcam support for phones? The E71 series for example has a conference cam which would be great with ebuddy.
Samsung i600 also has this feature, probably a few other phones!

I using ebuddy .. but when i’m in office i have no web cam on my pc .. but i need to my friends web cam .. i chat with my partner they using msn messenger and it they shows i’m offline and they can’t invite me .. how can i see my partners webcam if i have no web cam on that same time . please help me .. is there any chance to share webcam of my partner if i have no webcam …
